Bloomfield Week Ten

Hello, friends!! It's been quite a week!

HIGHLIGHTS:
-Our district had another baptism this week and Sister Withers and I got to sing/play piano at it
-We had zone conference and we performed a beautiful musical number with the sisters we live with and with a trio of elders in our zone. It was SO FUN. And zone conference was great. We talked a lot about Light the World and how we'll be using it in our missionary work during this upcoming Christmas season. WOW I'm excited.
-I survived taking over the area for the day while Sister Withers was gone on exchanges!
-We got lots of unplanned service in this week, like raking leaves with less-active members and it was lots of fun
-Our lesson this week with Cade DeDios (one of the 9-year-olds we're teaching) went super well and he is just one of the greatest almost-10-year-olds I know.

The week (like always) had it's difficult spots, but the good times outweigh that stuff a lot. I read Doctrine and Covenants 122:9 at the exact perfect time that I needed it and that was wonderful. My favorite part of it was: "Therefore, hold on." Life is HARD a lot of the times, but we gotta just keep holding on. Even the hardest days always come to an end and the sun will always rise the next morning and it will always be lovely. Life is good because God is good!!

Lots and lots of love,
Sister Bohman

More things to read from this week...
-President Uchtdorf's talk from the most recent Women's Session of General Conference ("Three Sisters"). Sneak peak of a favorite quote: "The Good Shepherd will find you. He will lift you upon His shoulders. And He will carry you home."
