Bloomfield Week Seven
Hello friends!! It's been a pretty quiet week here in Bloomfield, New Mexico, but let's get into it with some little highlights of each day...
Monday: We had dinner with a family who has a whole farm and we got to pet their cow AND they sent us home with a whole carton of eggs!! 18 of them!! That cow was the cutest cow I've ever seen though. No joke.
Tuesday: We were in a trio for a day with Sister Davidson while she waited for her new companion to get to Farmington. It was like being back in the MTC! Only not really because the mission field isn't like the MTC at all... It was fun though!
Wednesday: We saw almost everyone we wanted to see today! AND we got to serve food at the senior center AND I'm finally learning how to pronounce hello and goodbye in Navajo! The cute Navajo lady that works there always quizzes us, and I'm getting better each week :)
Thursday: We made so many return appointments today! Seriously, next week is going to be amazing.
Friday: Most of the day was planning, but we also had the ward Halloween party. A less active couple we've been working with, the Kings, texted us the day before and asked if they could help set up for the party and it was SO GREAT!! They came an hour early and were so happy to be helping. They are doing so, so well and will hopefully be getting ready to be sealed in the temple soon!!! The church is true!!
Saturday: We met a new investigator that recently moved to Bloomfield from Kirtland and we put her on date to be baptized December 2nd! Her name is ShiBaah and she is so amazing!! She actually mentioned baptism before we even brought it up (every missionary's dream) and we are SO excited for her! She's also got the cutest little boys EVER. They're 8 months, 22 months, and 4 years old. So cute!!
Sunday: We got to go to primary today to play "Are You Smarter than a Missionary?" and it was SO FUN. Those kids are so cute. I LOVE this ward!!
It's been a good week! I can't believe October is almost over. That's absolutely insane!! Time flies. But this week has also felt forever long... Being a missionary makes time super weird haha but it's good. It's great to be a missionary!
Thank you for the love and letters and prayers. I love you all!!

Scriptures I've loved this week...
P.S. I guess people in New Mexico don't believe in recycling or something because we don't do it here, which makes me feel super bad. So everyone at home needs to make sure they're recycling as much as they can to make up for my lack of recycling!! I know, I know it's silly, but just do this for me and for our planet (we are supposed to take care of it!!), please, okay?! I love you and thank you :)
