Bloomfield Week Nine

Hello, friends!! I don't have a ton of time this week to write this up, so this will have to be fast, but here goes...

HIGHLIGHT of the week was that we finally had an investigator at church!! ShiBaah came!!! And she had such a good time. It was fast and testimony meeting so that was really special for her, she enjoyed it a lot.

Bonus highlight of the week: a pair of elders in our district had a baptism this weekend for a couple they've been teaching and it was so neat because the couple was deaf so the whole service was done in sign language (but we did have a translator). It was so special, especially the actual baptism when they were standing in the font and the brother who was baptizing the deaf man was signing the baptism prayer and it was just super duper sweet and personal and kind of like the way I think every baptism should be. Boy, was it special. And another plus was that I got to play the piano! And I'm playing at a baptism this week too! :)

It was a super great week and I have exactly 0 complaints. Life is good, God is good, and being a missionary is good.

I love you!!
Sister Bohman

Scriptures I've been loving this week...
O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

P.S.

These pictures are all from last P Day.  A man in the other sisters’ ward offered to teach us how to make GUITARS out of CIGAR BOXES. So that’s what all those pics are from. We aren’t finished yet, but it’s so neat and such a beautiful concept because we’re taking something that was dirty and no-good and giving it new life by making it into an instrument that can play joyful music. Like the gospel, but for cigar boxes.
