Farmington Week Eighteen

Hello, friends!! One more week left of the transfer! We find out on Saturday who stays and who goes. Now back to this week...

Highlights!

Monday- had a lesson today with the Beyales, a returning member family. They have had a rough few weeks, but we got to testify of the Savior's love for each of them and that He understands what they are going through and can strengthen them. That's something I will miss when I'm not a missionary: getting to testify to people of those truths so many times each day. I love the Beyales. Please pray for them!

Tuesday- met with Diane! If you remember her, she is the roommate of a returning member, Josephine. We haven't been able to meet with the two of them all transfer, but Sister Darlington felt inspired to go by on Tuesday and just Diane was home, but she let us is and told us she had started reading the Book of Mormon! AND she told is she has been thinking about baptism and she thinks she needs to do it!! MIRACLES!! We left her with a good chapter on baptism: 2 Nephi 31 and I'm so excited to hear what she learned while reading! Stay tuned!

Wednesday- got to help a family move! It was hard work because there was a lot to do in not a lot of time, but it felt so good to serve! After we finished, we and the other missionaries who were with us sang "Have I Done Any Good in the World Today?". I love that hymn! My heart was so filled :)

Thursday- felt inspired to visit a part-member family who we haven't seen in weeks (the Johns) and... they were home! It's the little miracles. We got to sit down with them for the first time in forever and I think we're going to get to start teaching them soon! I'm so excited!!! And Margie (the nonmember wife) is going to teach us to make fry bread next week!!

Friday- had a great lesson with Jennifer where we got to testify of the importance of coming to church to partake of the sacrament and shared a video called "The Savior Understands Me" from lds.org with Elder Holland in it. It's such a good video!

Saturday- I got to spend Saturday in Bloomfield with Sister Allred again! We did service in the morning and then had a lesson with the Benallys in the afternoon. Remember them? Marius is 10 and was baptized almost a year ago when I was serving in Bloomfield! It was so good to see them again. AND the ward Halloween party was that night so I got to see some of my other favorite people :) Plus, I just love Sister Allred, so it was an amazing day. We double-worked the area with Sister Allred's companion, Sister Holmes, and Sister Bingham from the YSA ward so we all got to spend the night together and it was so much fun. I love those sisters!

Sunday- THE BEGAYS CAME TO CHURCH!!!! They haven't been to church in YEARS and they came yesterday!! I had literally been praying all week for angels to clear the way for them to be able to be there on Sunday and everything just perfectly fell into place. I know angels helped them!! Angels are real!!

From Farmington with love,
Sister Bohman
