Winslow Week Nine
Hello, friends!! Happy New Year!!!
Let me tell you about 2018. Every single day in 2018 I got to put on a special black name-tag that puts my name right next to Jesus Christ's. I got to represent Him and do my very best to say and do what He would say and do if He were in my place. I met new people and told them about what Jesus could do for their lives. I woke up early every day and worked my tail off until bedtime. I shared my testimony and the reason for my hope. I served and served and served. I got to know other missionaries that have changed my life. I struggled, but I was never alone. I cried a LOT. I felt more joy than I ever have. I grew closer to my Heavenly Father. I shared my love with strangers and friends. I found a true best friend in Jesus Christ.
It was nothing short of AMAZING.
Being a missionary is AMAZING.
Doing it every day in 2018 was AMAZING.
But it's like my bestie, Sister Corpus, said: "It ain't over 'til it's over." Amen to that.
I've got less than 3 months left in this crazy adventure that I've been on and let me tell you, I want to use every single minute. I love my area. I love my companion. I love my purpose. I love my Savior.
Sorry it was a short one! It's been a very reflective week. The people we are teaching are progressing super well and we're getting to know lots of members and I got to go on a few exchanges, but basically everything this week just boils down to
I LOVE WHERE I AM AND WHAT I'M DOING.
And I love all of you. :)
